Gangsterboss Tien landet bei einem skrupellosen Überfall einen großen Coup. In dem Flammenmeer kommt die Verlobte des heißblütigen Cops Chan Chun um. Von Rache getrieben erhält er Unterstützung von Kommissar Fong Yik-wei, der von Tien vorgeführt wurde und von Wai King-ho, dessen älterer Bruder auch zu der berüchtigten Bande um Tien gehören soll. An action flick that can't leave anyone cold. It stars Nicholas Tse and Shawn Yue as good cops going against Jacky Wu and his bad ass cronies. The film has an incredible pace that runs like a Swiss watch, a very good story with some interesting twists and turns, stunning visuals and most importantly perfect fights, especially in the first hour. In the second hour Benny Chan slows down and blows us away in the finale, where once again the unbeatable Jacky Wu fights against two bad guys and gets the adrenaline pumping very fast. The final fight is one for the top list. Benny Chan is very talented arm and he put me on the edge of my seat with this film. An action film with all the right stuff. 95%
