Ryden Malby (Alexis Bledel) hat die Highschool super abgeschlossen und glaubt sich fast am Ziel ihrer großartig ausgemalten Zukunft: Karriere, ein cooles Leben und die große Liebe. Leider sieht die Realität anders aus. Kein Job, kein Geld, kein Traummann, dafür die Rückkehr zur exzentrischen Familie und ziemlich skurrile Zukunftsaussichten. Zum Glück gibt es ihren besten Freund Adam (Zach Gilford). Er sorgt dafür, dass sich Rydens Frustration in Grenzen hält... und vielleicht sogar für etwas mehr! (Fox Deutschland)

Thanks to Alexis Bledel, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is an incredibly pleasant story of us graduates, who are all excited to finish our studies and at that moment we think the whole world will bow to us. But life is not a walk in the park and even Alexis realizes that stepping into real life won't be a stroll through a rose garden. Anyway, it was ticking away and I really liked it. Especially for the grace with which the film came to the viewer, because that is rarely seen.
