Schlagerkomponist Dexter Havenkehrt anlässlich eines Jazz-Festivals in sein Haus auf Rhode Island zurück. Dort trifft er auf seine Ex-Frau,die kühle und unnahbare Millionärin Daisy Cord. If it wasn't for the songs, I probably wouldn't enjoy it at all. It's not a bad movie, and there are indeed very good actors and musicians here, but it's just a farce that doesn't surprise you in terms of the plot. The star-studded cast in this case didn't seem captivating to me either, because the chemistry just doesn't work, which is bad. Moreover, Grace Kelly seemed annoying to me rather than charming.
