Blake Edwards was one of the few directors who knew how to make comedies that at times seemed absolutely insane, but then in the next scene, you could say they were actually quite clever. And on top of that, there's a story that makes sense and has a coherent plot. Moreover, everything is spiced up with excellent performances by the main actors. ()
