Rick's group is turning Gabriel's church into a fortress using every resource they have. Daryl returns with reinforcements to Atlanta to rescue Carol and Beth. In the city, Rick shares his plan, but Tyreese offers an alternative, which Daryl supports. Meanwhile, things aren't looking good for the sergeant's group. They're running out of water, Eugene is still unconscious, and the sergeant is on the edge between apathy and rage. Tyreese's plan in Atlanta starts to take shape, and it seems like everything might go smoothly, but...
