Nothing's All Bad is Mikkel Munch-Fals' first feature film. In the film we meet four people, who all long for love and cross paths in unpredictable ways. We meet Ingeborg (Bodil Jørgensen), who no longer feels attractive, and the young guy Jonas (Sebastian Jessen), who is so attractive, that he can literally make a living off it. We meet Anna (Mille Hoffmeyer Lehfeldt), a younger, physically disabled woman, and Anders (Henrik Prip) an older man with a mental issue. All of them are determined to fight for a better life, which causes the lives of the the four people to become entwined. (Verleiher-Text)

Englisch Denmark pearls one movie after another, and each time it takes my breath away with its story. It maintains an incredibly tense atmosphere throughout, exploding brutally at the end. This one is no different, just approached from a slightly different angle. Nevertheless, there were moments when I felt really sorry for the actors, but in the end I was very surprised by the result. The original title, which more or less agrees with the Czech translation, is ironic just like the whole film and the society we live in. For me, once again, a huge experience. ()
