Fünf Freunde reisen nach Vilnius, um dort zu feiern und zu saufen. Auf einer Party treffen sie auf Tattoo-Stecherin Uta, die so von ihrem Boss schwärmt, dass die Freunde in seinem Salon vorbeischauen. Von dem, was sie dort Düsteres erwartet, ahnen sie leider nichts. Denn der Anarchy Parlor ist ein ganz besonderes Studio und der „Künstler" dort geht sehr dunklen Praktiken nach, die von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben wurden. (Tiberius Film)

God bless Hostel! A wannabe cool (no, it’s not cool) and tough (no, it’s not that tough, either) teenage exploitation flick with lobotomised characters. LaSardo is on the verge of parody, Sara Fabel is way further, as well as the final twist.

Decent, though I was expecting a lot more blood and gore, it's kept fairly low key and we don't see too much of it, but even a little is plenty these days. The cast is very beautiful and sexy, from the sexy brunette stripper to the incredible goth, suicide, tattooed, nasty bitch. Robert Lasardo is a fine choice of villain, I also remember him from Autopsy in particular where he shone the most. The film also has decent visuals, good pacing, a decent final twist and a surprising ending and a dash of good gore, so a weaker four stars is in order. 70%

Anarchy Parlor isn't a great film, but considering what we normally get in terms of slashers and torture porn, this is still bearable, and I definitely prefer it, thanks to some of the characters, much more than Hostel. The film satisfies your need for gore, but it also occasionally pleases with some good scenes that create at least a basic line in an otherwise fairly simple plot.
