In einer regnerischen Nacht steigt die blinde Min Soo-ah (Kim Ha-neul) in ein Taxi. Plötzlich fährt das Auto etwas Großes an. Obwohl der Fahrer behauptet, dass es sich um einen Hund handelt, ist sich die junge Frau sicher, dass er lügt. Bei der Polizei will ihr jedoch niemand glauben. Was kann eine blinde Frau schon gesehen haben? Erst als sich ein zweiter Zeuge, ein Teenager, meldet, wendet sich das Blatt. Allerdings widersprechen sich beide Aussagen, und was zunächst wie eine Fahrerflucht aussieht, stellt sich bald als die Tat eines Serientäters heraus. Ein Killer, der alles daran setzt, die beiden einzigen Zeugen mundtot zu machen... (MFA/MFA+)

An incredibly suspenseful film with a well-thought-out script and an original plot. I couldn't tear myself away from start to finish. The plot actually starts in the first minute, no waiting around for anything, no unnecessary scenes anywhere. Ha-neul Kim was absolutely natural in the role of the blind woman. The other characters develop interestingly throughout the film. I especially mean the detective and the boy. The action finale was very well done, to say the least.

A quality Korean thriller that is suspenseful from start to finish. The story follows a blind woman (ex-cop) who witnesses a crime, right after which her whole life comes crashing down as a really sleazy killer is on her heels. I loved the over the top gore scene, which will be uncomfortable to watch for most people, and the well-crafted moments, like the scene in the subway or the atmospheric finale. Even though the main character is blind, she still has combat training and is something to watch. Good stuff! 80%
