Englisch It was an unassuming evening, on ČT24 they did a solo carp and Pierre Richard appeared in a live broadcast. His storytelling about movies in France, about his past, about Vladimír Cosma, and how much he loves our country, to which he also contributes the fact that he himself confirmed that he played best in front of the Czech audience, honestly touched me unbelievably. He spoke about the Czech Republic with wonderful enthusiasm. He spoke about how Czechs understand his humor, that he greatly values it, and that at least this we have in common with the French. After it ended, Pierre Richard climbed to the top of the French actors ranking for me, and I didn't hesitate and immediately turned on one of his most famous films. I liked how this is not actually a typical comedy, but combines crime and comedy in a way that it takes the best from the crime genre, but still manages to make it incredibly funny. As soon as Pierre came on the scene, I couldn't stop laughing and it kept me entertained until the end of the film. The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe thus becomes another French film for me that I will gladly repeat in the future. ()

Englisch Pierre Richard shows off his comedic skills here, even in the sense that he is not unnecessarily theatrical, although he does come off a little awkward at times. But it's never over the top, it's always with flair, and the film entertains for that reason. The screenwriting is also so beautifully hokey that you can’t help but like the film and be entertained.
