Abel lives in the winter and Apolline lives in the summer. Isolated in their "natures", they never meet each other. They are not even supposed to meet. So when Abel crosses the border and discovers Apolline, his curiosity is overwhelming. Their encounter soon becomes more complicated than they could imagine. A beautiful, romantic story about two people, presented in a somewhat fantastical manner, but just enough to make it all a bit different. I really liked the 3D animation here because I think it fit well, especially due to the interesting color scheme. It has no words, and yet this film says more than other verbose pieces.
