One doesn't often see a script written this poorly. It has so many holes in its meaningfulness and logic. The characters here don't behave as they should according to their personalities, professions, and so on. It’s so bad that it hurts. Everything is just for the sake of that effect and to achieve it, regardless of how important it is that the characters eventually become quite unbearable, even when played by beloved actors. Jackson unnecessarily tries to give his character depth, which just turns him into another ordinary lunatic. Yeah, I was hurting by the end.
