Eve kann ihren heimtückischen und perversen Entführer überwältigen und aus ihrem Gefängnis fliehen. Doch schnell merkt sie, dass der Mann noch einige andere Mädchen entführt und versteckt haben muss. Sie dreht den Spieß vollends um und foltert ihren Peiniger, um die geheimen Orte aus ihm rauszuholen. Doch Eve wird überrascht: einige Mädchen wollen nicht befreit werden. Außerdem scheint ihr Entführer Komplizen zu haben. (Tiberius Film)

I was looking forward to Reversal since the first trailer and it's a shame that the only promising exploitation flick this year didn't push the envelope. On the plus side, it has a short running time, a fast pace, decent technical aspects and an original twist for the genre. What's a downer though is the lack of gore, there are a few gory gunshots, but I see this film and then some in every Korean action. It could have been spiced up with some rape, the possibilities and the means were there but the director didn't have the balls. I had fun, it's decent and definitely one of the better films this year, but I shake my head at the wasted potential. 65%.
