(Fox Channel)

Season 1 (2017) (S01)

Englisch I really enjoyed Season 1. What I consider to be the best moment was the silent movie in Episode 7 and I think the best acting performance was delivered by Aubrey Plaza. She was fantastic as Lenny. Most of the episodes were an audiovisual blast. The first episode totally blew me away, I had no idea what to make of it. The plot gradually became clearer, but I did enjoy even the crazy chaos. At least it gave me something to think about. I'm looking forward to the second season. ()

Kapitel 1 (2017) (S01E01)

Englisch The first episode hit me with a brutal audiovisual overload. Initially, everything was total chaos, but after a while, I started to catch on, thinking I was beginning to understand the plot. However, by the end, I was left with a ton of questions. Who is David? Who is Sydney? Who are all these other characters? Is anyone even real, or is this all just in David's head? And if they are real, where's Professor Xavier? ()

Kapitel 3 (2017) (S01E03)

Englisch Legion keeps getting better with each episode. I got answers to some of my questions, but the creators are definitely stingy with explanations. Regardless, the story has me hooked. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and can't wait for the next episodes. ()

Kapitel 4 (2017) (S01E04)

Englisch Another great episode, with the plot unfolding across three levels (reality, memories, and the astral plane), all of which kept me intrigued. Cary/Kerry was hilarious, and the encounter with Oliver was amusing too. I just wish he'd leave the record player alone — clearly, our musical tastes don't align. ()

Kapitel 5 (2017) (S01E05)

Englisch Episode five answered the most questions yet, only to end in a way that raised a bunch of new ones. Just when you think you’re getting a handle on things! I was entertained by the pantomime scenes, although I did wonder for a moment if there was something wrong with my TV. ()

Kapitel 7 (2017) (S01E07)

Englisch Episode seven was packed with events, the complete opposite of the previous one. I have to say, Kerry’s character puzzles me. She’s always eager for action but ends up like the title character from Kick-Ass every time. Maybe one of her abilities is masochism? The highlight of this episode was definitely the silent film sequence — it was a real treat. ()

Kapitel 8 (2017) (S01E08)

Englisch The season finale was decent but didn't quite reach the heights of the previous episode. I was glad to see Clark return, but I was disappointed by the heavy-handed way the creators tried to convince us he's not such a bad guy — he's gay and adopted a child, after all! The open ending was expected, as I had no doubt there would be another season given the show's potential. ()
