Ein Meteorit rast auf die Erde zu. Der Himmelkörper besitz ein Vielfaches der Erdmasse und kann nicht von seinem Kurs abgebracht werden. Gorath is not a film that is completely groundbreaking overall, but I could still enjoy the absolutely great special effects and the thoughtfulness of some of the plot elements. In the film, there is a massive flood scene that is spectacularly portrayed. Moreover, the Earth itself begins to erupt, and visually, it looks truly magnificent. It’s an example of how the Japanese surpassed most Western creators in special effects. Moreover, it's an absolutely ingenious solution to the problem. That definitely deserves extra points.
