A perfect adaptation of the manga, and for the first time in a while, a Japanese film that suited me. The main character is a 58 year old man dying of cancer. He is eternally ignored by his family and the outside world, but the one night he comes to an unearthly power and becomes a Cyborg of all sorts of abilities (besides all sorts of weapons, rockets, or the ability to fly, especially the ability to cure deadly diseases), in short, a good-for-nothing who will try to save the world around him. That same night a young student also gains the ability and decides to use it in the wrong direction, with the goal of disarming the whole of Japan. It's a bit of a Japanese Marvel movie, but the unconventional heroes make it very original, highly emotional in places, visually impressive and epically spectacular in terms of action. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. 85% ()
