Englisch I had some doubts about the casting of Krasinski as CIA analyst Jack Ryan, and my skeptical thoughts simply caught up with me. Now I can say that it was a mistake. His performance was perfect in every way; he was the driving force of the series, and his presence on screen was incredibly beneficial. His unique personality with a skeleton in the closet was portrayed excellently. The story was surprisingly well-developed, and I was pleased that the main antagonist, Ali Suliman, received significant screen time, which enhanced the series' portrayal of the conflict with Ryan. There were some solid shootouts (especially in the first half, as hooking viewers is always the top priority), so there's no need to worry about a lack of action, and the film definitely delivers. I didn’t fully grasp the subplot involving the drone operator; I understand the creators' intention to explore moral questions about killing on command, but it didn’t fit well and distracted me from the main storyline. The final episode was intensely dramatic. I'm looking forward to the second season and hope it maintains the quality and creatively explores the theme. I’m happy to wait a bit, and I give it 84%. ()
