Praktisch das einzige Problem, das ich mit diesem Film habe, ist die Tatsache, dass er sowohl vom Stil als auch von der Handlungsprämisse sehr an den vier Jahre älteren I Origins erinnert. Wirklich sehr. Es ist, als ob dasselbe Handlungsgerüst nur mit einem anderen Thema und anderen Charakteren gefüllt worden wäre. Ansonsten ist Clara im Grunde genommen ein angenehmer und konfliktfreier, rätselhafter Film, den man gut anschauen kann und der technisch einwandfrei ist. Ich gehe davon aus, dass das begeisterte Publikum ihn leicht finden wird.

Clara could be compared to the civilian sci-fi films Another Earth and I Origins by Mike Cahill. In many aspects, these films are similar, except that Clara uses sci-fi elements only minimally and rather focuses on the emotional level, making it primarily a romantic drama that may push the boundaries at times. I enjoyed the first half more, in the second half it lost a bit of its momentum and the subsequent finale didn't have the desired effect on me. It may not be as good as Mike Cahill's aforementioned films, but it's definitely worth watching.
