Aus einer Wanduhr fallen zur vollen Stunde Steine und formen sich zu Mosaiken und Figuren. Jedes Mal werden die Steine größer, farbiger und das Ballett der daraus entstehenden Mosaiken kunstvoller. Am Ende ist die Masse der Steine aber so groß, dass sie den feinen Mechanismus der Uhr zerstört. (Verleiher-Text)

Every now and then, there's interesting animation in this film, and some really nice images are created from those stones, but even that doesn't change the fact that these just aren't the kind of films that would resonate with me in any way. I looked, I saw, but I certainly didn't feel victorious. Perhaps some other film by Švankmajer will resonate with me.
