Englisch 99% of MMA movies are absolutely stupid, dumb and unbelievable in terms of the fighting aspect and the usually stupid story with characterless actors doesn't add to their quality. Born a Champion is the same in terms of fight scenes, only they are less naive than other films, so the result is watchable. But where the film excels and where it uncompromisingly got me is in the emotions, because the charismatic lead duo along with the script (yes, even if it is cheesy, predictable and seen hundreds of times) managed to evoke such emotions in me that I was close to tears several times. The MMA story is a little bit neglected with the romance and the story about the main character, but in the end I don't mind it at all, it's good to watch, it has a good feeling, the film manages to be suspenseful in key scenes and in others it grabs you by the heart. There are a lot of fights, the finale classically goes where we all expect it to go, but despite this "trashiness" I enjoyed it and I haven't had such an emotional ride in a long time. For all this and the performance of the main actor I will throw in the star and maybe take it back in time after it's settled down, anyway the feeling after watching it is good, even though the film probably won't suit everyone. But if you get into it, you will be fully drawn in. ()
