I can't recall the last time I enjoyed a BBC-produced series this much. Lately, I've been more accustomed to politically correct propaganda, which often spoils many good stories (like Terry Pratchett's). So, I was completely unprepared for this. From the very first episode, I was excellently entertained, and I found myself forgiving the creators for many shortcomings because it was clear that they didn't take themselves too seriously. / Lesson learned: How to become a murderer against your will quickly and easily. I enjoy this BBC style of drama series — interesting themes packed into three or four episodes with stellar performances. The limited runtime keeps the plot moving without unnecessary filler, which is often a problem with longer series. However, the premise in this one felt incredibly absurd. David Tennant delivers a great performance, but his character's situation is so far-fetched that it seems like it was concocted by someone not thinking clearly. ()
